§1 Scope of the house rules
The house rules apply to attending the event and for entering the event areas used by the organizer, including parking spaces and paths to the event venue. The validity of the event is not valid for the use of means of transport provided by the organizer. With the purchase of the admission ticket – also via third parties – visitors recognize these terms and conditions and the applicable house rules. In addition, the General Terms and Conditions of the Ferropolis Foundation (www.ferropolis.de).
§2 domiciliary law
Domestic rights are the responsibility of the association The Circus Frame e.V.. The security service used is authorized to exercise this right on behalf of the organizer, in particular to carry out admission controls and evictions.
§3 Tickets and Age Restrictions
Entry as a participant: in is only permitted from the age of 16.
Persons under 16 may only take part in guided tours when accompanied by a legal guardian or enter the grounds as spectators of shows
Young people between the ages of 16 and 17 may only take part in the event with a valid document on the transfer of the duty of supervision, proof of age and a copy of the parents’ identity card.
The organizer reserves the right to check proof of age and declarations at the entrance.
There is no transfer of the duty of supervision to the organizer.
Visitors only receive access after confirmed participation in the safety instruction that is mandatory in advance, the content of which is regulated in a separate document.
The resale of tickets to third parties for commercial purposes is prohibited. Tickets may only be obtained from www.aerial-circus-con.de or official partners.
Advice on youth protection:
The requirements of the Youth Protection Act (JuSchG) apply to all minor visitors. The organizer is obliged to implement these regulations consistently.
The document on the transfer of the duty of supervision must be downloaded in advance at www.aerial-circus-con.de, filled out completely and presented at the entrance without being asked.
Minors are prohibited from bringing them with them, buying and consuming alcohol and tobacco. This applies to the entire site including camping areas. Violations lead to the immediate exclusion from the event.
Compliance with these regulations is controlled by the regulatory staff.
§4 Discontinuation, demolition or postponement of the event
The organizer reserves the right to cancel, cancel or postpone the event due to force majeure, official requirements or other circumstances for which it is not responsible. In this case, tickets remain valid for the retrieval date. A claim for reimbursement only exists if the visitor cannot be expected to participate in the catch-up date (e.g. unmovable family events or booked holiday trips). Additional costs (arrival, accommodation, etc.) are excluded. Force majeure includes i.a. Pandemics, extreme weather conditions, political unrest, threat of terrorism, official orders. The assessment of the organizer is decisive, taking into account the interests of all those involved.
§5 Admission and access controls
Admission is only available upon presentation of a valid ticket and after confirmed safety instruction. Visitors agree to security checks.
The organizer may refuse access to persons if:
no valid ticket is available
Proof of age or the document on the transfer of the duty of supervision is missing
was not or was violated in the safety instruction
dangerous or prohibited items are carried
The visitor is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
a behavior recognizable of a disruption or intention of violence
§6 Behavior on the event site
The visitor has to carry the ticket after admission and show them or any other access authorization granted at any time on request.
In the event of loss of tokens, pledge marks, the entry belt or waste chips, these will not be replaced. The visitor has to behave in such a way that the Organizers, other visitors and third parties are not harmed, endangered or harassed.
The instructions of the organizer and the security and security service must be followed. Fire protection devices and safety devices must not be obstructed, blocked, impaired or otherwise impaired or misused, not just temporarily.
The visitor is forbidden to disrupt the course of the event, to smoke in buildings outside the designated smoking areas, criminal, illegal or to help or incite other visitors to ignite, fireworks or pyrotechnic objects, to smear, to smear, damage or remove plants and facilities, etc. Climbing fences, light poles, buildings, power boxes, sanitary stations, mobile toilets and other infrastructure facilities on the event site, bypassing barriers, or recognizably not entering areas that are accessible to the visitor or helping to contaminate, operate advertising of any kind or distribute leaflets or other materials, unless this has been previously expressly permitted by the organizer, inhuman, racist, xenophobic, political-extremist, obscene or to express or distribute insulting, left or right-wing extremists or other radical slogans, acting left or right or otherwise extremist, in particular showing and using National Socialist slogans (§ 86a StGB), unauthorized beverages, food, Souvenirs, dresses, promotional items, fan items, merchandise items and/or other goods and items to distribute or sell. To make audio, photo, film and video recordings of the event or parts of it for commercial and/or commercial use, to create sound, photo, film and video recordings of the artists and their performances for private use (this is also already the copyright law prohibited), to defecate outside the toilet rooms.
Otherwise, the provisions for the use of the campsite and parking apply (see §12 Camping). In the event of a violation, the organizer can take the visitor from the refer to the event. In this case, the visitor is not entitled to re-entry or refund the entrance fee. the right of the organizer, Claiming compensation remains unaffected.
§7 Prohibited Items
A list of forbidden items can be found under www.aerial-circus-con.de/faq. The organizer reserves the right to exclude individual items on site.
§8 Photo/Video Recordings
The organizer, sponsors and partners create image and sound recordings for PR purposes during the event. Visitors agree to this when entering the site. The image and video material created can be published, shared and distributed on the social channels of the organizer (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok). In addition, this material can be used for commercial purposes, passed on to third parties and sold. Information on data protection see §14. Photographs and videographies that are created in cooperation with a photo or vidoegrapher on site can be given to the participant(s) and the agreement is made among themselves without the organizer having to act. For any type of publication, the organizer and the event “Aerial-Circus Convention 2026” must be named and marked.
§9 Security
Heavy equipment is being used on the site of the Aerial Circus Convention. This results in an increased risk potential due to, for example, improper use of machines, also participation in all workshops and training or use of the installations results in an increased risk potential and is at your own risk. Depending on the dynamic load, circus props and installations can also be charged via your working load limit (WLL) or Breaking Load Limit (BLL). The participants are aware that aerial artistry alone represents a basic risk. In the event of improper use and inspection, overloading or errors on the part of the user, the organizer does not bear any liability. Each participant: Is solely responsible for civil and criminal liability for damages caused. Participation is only permitted soberly, without residual alcohol and free of substances that change consciousness (e.g. drugs or medication with a negative effect). In the event of an infringement, the event will be excluded immediately. The instructions of the festival management, workshop management and all responsible helpers must be followed without restrictions. Violations of safety instructions that endanger themselves or others will result in immediate exclusion from the activity or the entire festival. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas. Children under the age of 16 may only attend workshops and use the installations when accompanied by and in the presence of their educational officer.
The use of the installations, participation in workshops or similar takes place to the exclusion of any liability by the organizer for any resulting damage to property or personal injury. By participating, visitors expressly recognize this disclaimer. The site can be cleared or cordoned off if there is a risk, without claiming to be (partial) reimbursement.
§10 Program Changes
We also reserve the right to short-first program changes.
Failures of individual artists or artists do not constitute a reason for refund.
§11 Venue
Ferropolis, Gräfenhainichen.
In the event of organizational needs, the event location can be relocated without any claim for reimbursement.
§12 Camping
Camping outside the official campsite is expressly prohibited. Cars are generally not allowed to go to the campsite and must be parked outside in the parking lot. There is a separate parking space for caravans, mobile homes and camper vans. For this, the visitor needs a separate camper ticket per vehicle in addition to the ticket. After parking, moving or relocating the vehicle on the site is prohibited. Departure is only permitted when leaving the site in the final.
In order to reduce the effort involved in removing bulky waste, furniture such as sofas and armchairs or car tires, bins, etc. is not permitted on the entire campsite.
After the end of the event, the camping area must be left free of contamination, e.g. garbage, tents, leftovers, etc., the participants have to take care of this themselves. Deposit bottles and deposit boxes left by the owner on the festival grounds with their right of exploitation to the Aerial-Circus Convention, deposit collecting is only approved by the staff provided by the festival. Collecting private deposits is prohibited.
Otherwise, the other provisions of the house rules also apply to camping.
§13 Liability of the Organizer
Visitors are informed that the organizer has not taken out any accident, liability or theft insurance for participants. It is recommended to take out your own insurance if necessary, especially when participating in risky activities such as workshops or staying at the campsite. The legal claims for damages in the event of injury to life, limb or health remain unaffected.
§14 Privacy Policy
The data protection regulations apply under www.aerial-circus-con.de/datenschutz
In the event of a legal obligation, data (e.g. for infection tracking) will be forwarded to authorities.
Section 15 Disclaimer
The exemption and exclusion declaration to be filled out by the visitor is part of these terms and conditions.
