Ferropolis is somewhat remote, located on a peninsula near Gräfenhainichen. We have planned the journey well, and there are various options available.
As organizers, we encourage you to travel by public transportation, which is why we have created special options for you.
You can travel either way:
- With our special train:
It will run a shuttle service from Bitterfeld Station on June 4 and 7, taking you directly to the venue. Bitterfeld is easily accessible from all directions by long-distance transportation.
Purchase your ticket via the ticket shop.
You will receive the timetable as soon as our planning is complete. We will notify you in a timely manner via newsletter or social media.
We are currently in negotiations with the relevant companies. If this travel option is not possible, you will, of course, receive a refund for any tickets you have booked.
- By public transportion:
Take bus line 310 to the Gräfenhainichen, Abzweig Ferropolis stop. (Timetable line 310)
You can then either walk (approximately 30 minutes and 2.5 kilometers) or take one of our shuttle buses to the site.
Please note that these tickets must be purchased separately on site.
- By car:
Of course, you can also travel by car. Feel free to carpool.
The address for your navigation system is: Ferropolisstraße 1, 06773 Gräfenhainichen, Germany.
IMPORTANT: The parking lot is outside the gates of Ferropolis, not directly on the grounds. We recommend using our shuttle bus to get to the grounds.
Our crew will be available on site to answer any questions you may have. They will also direct you to the parking lot.
- By motorhome, caravan, or camper:
We have designated areas for campers on the grounds.
To use these areas, you must purchase an additional ticket at the ticket shop.
The parking spaces are located directly on Lake Gremminger See, putting them in a prime location (take a look at our interaktive map).
Please note that none of the parking spaces have electricity, water, or sewage connections. Please do not bring your own generator. You cannot empty your toilet on the grounds either.
IMPORTANT: Once you have parked your vehicle, it must remain there until the official departure day. Please take this into account when planning your trip.
During a convention or festival, there are sometimes unplanned options for the return journey. You may want to plan for a seat on the return trip. If you decide at AC-Con that you want to take the special train for your return trip, please go to the information point.
If anything goes wrong during your arrival or departure, you will be given a phone number before the event starts that you can call if you encounter any problems.
We will then provide you with the best possible support.
