Non Profit Association
The Circus Frame e.V. is a nonprofit association that organizes photo and video shoots featuring aerial art in unique and spectacular locations. Our intended target groups include aspiring and professional artists, photographers and videographers. We want to provide opportunities to network, help these groups to market themselves and explore new possibilities, including international collaborations in extraordinary locations.
History:
The nonprofit-association was founded in 2022 with 10 members. True to the motto “Circus knows no boundaries”, we have managed to overcome both physical and mental barriers. Thanks to spectacular events, highly organized shoots and a passion for enhancing the international circus scene´s visibility, the Circus Frame e.V. is growing steadily.

Even before The Circus Frame e.V. was founded, the first event took place in Marktbreit at the Alter Kranen, directly next to the River Main. Our team could also be seen in the idyllic town center, hanging on historic bridges just above the water surface.
After obtaining several permits and overcoming a few organizational hurdles, we were permitted to install our freestanding trapeze system at the Beach of Sankt Peter Ording inside a nature reserve. For one day we performed aerial acrobatics for visitors on the expansive beach. Throughout that day, we captured an amazing movie and great pictures.

We moved at heights of up to 40 meters at the Steigerwald treetop path. With the help of spectacular drone footage and a team of photographers, our crew of 12 people managed to capture impressive photos and videos at the helical observation tower.
We participated in an international exchange with Cirko Alebrije in Guadalajara, Mexico. In January, we spent ten days in Mexico getting to know our hosts, as well as various other circuses and artists. During training sessions, we exchanged ideas and learned different techniques from each other.

Planning the Aerial Circus Convention
Our crew has repeatedly visited the venue Ferropolis to explore the location, survey the site and draw up the initial plans for the convention.
Now, we are in the midst of preparations to make 2026 an unforgettable experience for the aerial and circus community.
Would you like to support us or join the team?
If so, please get in touch—we welcome every helping hand and creative idea!
Aerial Circus Convention 2026
Looking to the future:
- Another AC-Con
- Traveling in a converted biplane
- Further international networking
- Rigging on a hot air balloon
- Photo shoot on a viaduct at an approximate height of 200 meters.
In summary, we are a cultural non-profit-association that is always looking for new challenges. This is the only way we can organize even more spectacular events and photo shoots and continue to grow.
This project is close to our hearts and is supported by many who contribute their time, expertise, and passion.
