Non Profit Association

The Circus Frame e.V. is a nonprofit association that organizes photo and video shoots featuring aerial artistry in unique and spectacular locations. We aim to provide aspiring and professional artists, photographers, and videographers with the opportunity to network, market themselves, and explore new possibilities, including international collaborations, at special and extraordinary locations.

History:

The association was founded in 2022 with 10 members. With our motto, “Circus knows no boundaries,” we have managed to overcome real and imaginary boundaries. Thanks to spectacular events and shoots that require a great deal of organizational effort and a passion for raising the profile of the international circus scene, the Circus Frame e.V. is growing steadily.

Even before the company was founded, the first event took place in Marktbreit at the Alter Kranen, right on the Main River. Our team could also be seen in the idyllic town center, walking on historic bridges just above the water.

After obtaining several permits and overcoming a few organizational hurdles, we were permitted to install our freestanding trapeze system in the Sankt Peter Ording nature reserve for a day and perform aerial acrobatics for visitors on the expansive beach.

We moved at heights of up to 40 meters on the Steigerwald treetop path. With the help of spectacular drone footage and a team of photographers, our crew of 12 people managed to capture impressive photos and videos at the helical observation tower.

We participated in an international exchange with Cirko Alebrije in Guadalajara, Mexico. In January, we spent ten days in Mexico getting to know our hosts, as well as various other circuses and artists. During joint training sessions, we exchanged ideas and learned different techniques from each other.

Planning the Aerial Circus Convention

Our crew has visited Ferropolis several times to explore the location, survey the site, and draw up the initial plans for the convention.

Now, we are in the midst of preparations to make 2026 an unforgettable experience for the aerial and circus community.

Would you like to support us or join the team?

If so, please get in touch—we welcome every helping hand and creative idea!

Looking to the future:

  • Another AC-Con
  • Traveling in a converted biplane
  • Further international networking
  • Rigging a hot air balloon.
  • Photo shoot on a viaduct at an approximate height of 200 meters.

In summary, we are a cultural non-profit-association that is always looking for new challenges. This is the only way we can organize even more spectacular events and photo shoots and continue to grow.

This project is close to our hearts and is supported by many who contribute their time, expertise, and passion.
