Anna and Ida are renowned duo trapezoidal artists and bring years of experience and a deep understanding of common movement in the air. Both have a similar body weight - and it is precisely this physical closeness that allows them to develop and pass on techniques and figures at eye level.

This workshop is about more than just learning new tricks: it's about exchange, trust and the joint development of movements in the air. You will learn how to tune into each other, combine your strengths and move safely and creatively on the trapeze. Air ring and straps can also be part of the joint work.

How high are the actual loads in your discipline? How much stress is placed on your body, your props, your anchor point, your equipment?

In this practical workshop—led by an experienced circus rigger—you will learn how to calculate, measure, compare, and correctly assess loads. The aim is to develop a realistic understanding of forces in the aerial and circus fields.
Participants will have the opportunity to try out and measure for themselves the loads that arise in their own discipline. Together, we will test five different rigging points under practical conditions and analyze the differences.
The LineScale 3 Load Cell will be used:
Live measurements during movement
Analysis of peak loads
Bluetooth connection: read peak loads directly from the ground
A special highlight:
Live tear tests clearly demonstrate material behavior and safety reserves – an impressive insight into forces and failure moments.
This workshop is aimed at artists, trainers, and riggers who want to deepen their practical knowledge of safety and rigging.

In this workshop you will be accompanied by Kira Paas - an experienced artist with many years of practice on a vertical cloth.
Kira responds to every participant: N individually and creates a space in which you can certainly try out and develop yourself. It doesn't matter if you're just starting out or already have some basic knowledge.

Creative and choreographic

Physical theater for all aerial disciplines
